Curriculum

Specialist in medical oncology, researcher in Medical Oncology (until 2010) and currently in Applied Technical and Dietary Sciences at the Faculty of Medicine and Psychology of the "Sapienza" University of Rome, she has worked as a medical oncologist and currently works as a nutritionist at the Department of Oncological Sciences, Faculty of Medicine and Psychology, "Sapienza" University of Rome - S. Andrea Hospital, where she has created an integrated pathway in which oncology patients are started on physical activities and nutritional support during and after active treatments.

She worked as a post-doctoral fellow at the Kimmel Cancer Center (directed by Prof. C.M. Croce) at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, where she worked on oncology research. She was a member of the oncogeriatrics committee of LILT (Italian League for the Fight against Cancer). She is part of the Didactic-Scientific Council of the Second Level Master's Degree in Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism, Sapienza University of Rome, where she also serves as Organizational Secretary and teacher, and of the Local Scientific Committee for the SINPE conference (Italian Society of Artificial Nutrition and Metabolism) 2010.

She is the author of numerous peer-reviewed publications and a speaker at national conferences.
