David is the CEO of Ammagamma, a company specializing in Artificial Intelligence and data science that provides advanced mathematical solutions to guide businesses towards new sustainable social and productive visions.
Before this assignment, in 2016, David co-founded Yoroi, an Italian Cyber-Security company, of which he was CEO and Chairman for 2 years, but his managerial career began in 1996 at Cisco, a company where David spent 20 years, holding positions of increasing importance and success, first in Italy and then abroad. In particular, in 2008 he was promoted to Vice President Europe at Cisco, from 2009 to 2012 he became CEO of Cisco Italy and from September 2012 to January 2016 he was in charge of the Southern Europe region of Cisco Systems, which includes France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece and Israel.
In previous years, he held the role of General Manager for the Eastern Europe region, and was in charge of the Enterprise Commercial and Public Sector market segments of Cisco EMEA. Before joining Cisco, David worked at Sun Microsystems for 5 years.
He is a member of the board of directors of Make a Wish Italy and a member of the Advisory board of Sequitur Capital. In the past, David has been part of the Board of Directors and Vice President of the American Chamber of Commerce Italy; he has held the role of President of Assolombarda Monza and Brianza, member of the board of the Chamber of Commerce Monza and Brianza, Vice President of Assinform, member of the Board of Directors of the Triennale Foundation in Milan, Digital Champion for the City of Milan, member of the board of Action Aid Italy, board member and Vice President of Stanford Club Alumni Italy, has been a member of the Advisory Board of Cybaze Italy, and has served as Senior Advisor for Engie Italy, Technogym and Jakala.
In November 2011, he received the "Excellence Award," conferred by Manager Italia, CFMT, and Confcommercio to outstanding managers, companies, and professionals who have distinguished themselves with their work and ideas in the development of the tertiary sector and the economy.
In February 2015 News Week International selected him among the "Leaders of Italian Innovation Renaissance". David is one of the authors of "Informazione Senza Filtro" and author of the book "parole per cambiare rotta" published by Guerini.
