Cristina Villella

I have been working at Sky since 2003 as a Production Manager in the Sports department, and in 2005 I worked as an Editorial Senior Buyer in the Procurement department.

In 2009, I became Studio Operations Manager in Broadcast & Creative, and then in 2014 Head of Studios in PB&C Production before finally becoming Head of Multiplatform Content Origination, Playout, MCR, Live Mix, and OpsDev&Continuous Improvement teams in CXD Content eXperience Distribution dept. in 2022.

I have contributed to various projects as PM/Change Management:

• Authorization from the public for Live Studios events
• Introduction of Mosart Automation in the Sky Sport 24 gallery in 2013
• Relocation of TG24 from Rome to Milan with the implementation of Mosart Automation
• Decree Dignity - fixed-term contracts in labor leasing

Now I am part of the D&I team in the Communication Inclusion & Bigger Picture team.

Before joining Sky, I worked at Tele+/Canal+ as an Event TV Production Manager.

I have contributed to workshops on unconscious biases within the Sky Inclusion & Diversity team and I am part of the Producer Community Founders.

Ambassador of the Deploy your talents in Stem in the City project with the Sodalitas Foundation and the Municipality of Milan.

Co-President of the Women@Sky network

I have previously been a mentor for Italian associations, Young Women Network and WomenXImpact.
