Cristina Tajani is a Senator of the Republic and adjunct professor at the Polytechnic University of Milan. Former president and CEO of Anpal servizi spa. Previously, she was a Counselor at the Ministry of Labor and Councilor for Labor, Economic Development, Commerce, and Human Resources Policies of the Municipality of Milan (2011-2021).

Graduated in Economic and Social Studies at the "L. Bocconi" University in 2003, in 2007 she obtained a PhD in Labor Sciences from the State University of Milan discussing a model for evaluating the employment impact of the introduction of temporary work in Italy. She later won a research grant at the Department of Labor and Welfare of the State University of Milan. She was a fellow in industrial relations and political economy at the University of Milan, where she also taught.
