Women Empowerment Program 2024Cristina Moscardi is currently the Head of Global Tax Litigation at UniCredit S.p.A., where she manages the tax litigation of the UniCredit Group Holding and monitors the tax risk arising from litigation activities for the Italian perimeter of the Group.
During her professional career over the years, Cristina has developed good communication and relational skills, especially in dealing with tax authorities and tax jurisdiction bodies. She is a Certified Public Accountant and Auditor, serving as a technical defender for the UniCredit Group in tax proceedings and has been a member of the Board of Statutory Auditors of the Pension Fund for UniCredit Group employees. She is also part of the International Taxation working group of the Order of Certified Public Accountants and Accounting Experts of Milan.
She began her career as a freelancer, then continued her professional experience as an employee starting in 2001, specializing in the banking sector where she held roles of responsibility in tax structures, also serving as Tax Director. She currently holds the position of President of the Board of Auditors of a non-profit organization (Golfini Rossi onlus).
She is 53 years old and has two daughters aged 27 and 20; she lives in Milan.
