Curriculum

Born in Turin and graduated in 1990 in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Turin, she carried out research activities at the same University. Qualified as a Chemist and registered in the Chemists' Register since 1990, she began her professional career in private companies in the metalworking and chemical sector, within the Quality Control and R&D laboratories, and then assumed responsibility for the R&D laboratories of L'Oréal in Italy at the Settimo Torinese plant in 1997 after a period spent in product development laboratories at the R&D of the L'Oréal Group in Paris.

Since 2000, he has been the Scientific and Regulatory Director for the Italian branch, with responsibility for technical-regulatory compliance and Surveillance of cosmetic products, food supplements, and medical devices. Since 2007, he has also been responsible for coordinating the Consumer Service with the precise aim of adapting responses to a rigorous and transparent scientific objectivity.

He is the contact person for the main associative organizations (Cosmetica Italia, Federchimica) and national institutions for all scientific, regulatory, and consumer advisory issues in the cosmetics industry. He has served as President of the Technical Committee of Cosmetica Italia. He has enriched his professional path with managerial courses at the European Center for Executive Development in France.

Currently, as an expert, he gives lessons in courses organized by public and private institutions and universities, in the field of scientific and technical-regulatory issues for the cosmetic sector.

He is a member of the Jury of the Italian edition of the L'Oréal-UNESCO "For Women in Science" Award.
