Participated in the research project on mathematics education - Faculty of Mathematics at Sapienza University, Rome. Was part of the Xplora Teachers Group, a European project on science education.
He intervened at CERN in Geneva with the workshop "Using Xplora: chats in nursery schools" and was the national coordinator of some European Schoolnet projects.
He is a member of the Operational Unit for the development of scientific and technological culture - he was appointed by the ministry to a committee for monitoring e-learning in public administration and is part of the Education 2.0 editorial team. Since 2003, he has been involved in educational robotics.
