Bruno SICILIANO is a Professor of Control and Robotics and Director of the PRISMA Laboratory within the Faculty of Computer Science and Control Engineering at the University of Naples Federico II. His research interests include force control, visual servoing, human-robot interaction, and service robotics.

He has been a co-author of 7 books, 70 articles for scientific journals, and 170 conference papers and book chapters. He is a member of IEEE, ASME, and IFAC. He is a Co-editor of the Springer Tracts in Advanced Robotics and the Springer Handbook of Robotics, which recently received the PROSE Award for Excellence in Physical Sciences & Mathematics, also winning in the Engineering & Technology category. Prof. Siciliano is President of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society.
