Antonia Verna

Antonia has been a partner at Studio Portolano Cavallo since January 1, 2012. Before starting to collaborate with the firm in 2008, Antonia worked in London and Milan at Gianni Origoni Grippo Cappelli & Partners, assisting Italian and foreign clients in operations related to Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity & Venture Capital, corporate and contractual matters. Antonia is often a speaker at conferences and seminars on legal aspects of extraordinary operations and contracts.

She is the author of several articles on M&A and corporate finance published in various industry newsletters and magazines.

She graduated with honors in Law in 1994 from LUISS Guido Carli in Rome. In 1996, she attended a post-graduate specialization course in "International Business Law" at the School of Management of LUISS Guido Carli in Rome. In 2000, she obtained a Master of Laws from Temple University in Philadelphia.

She is Vice President of the European Women Lawyers Association (EWLA), a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), the Professional Women Association (PWA), the European Professional Women's Network (EPWN), and the Italian association Donne e Tecnologie.
