Curriculum

Antonella Canonico was born in Gavirate (VA) on April 12, 1961. She graduated with honors in psychology from the University of Ljubljana with a thesis on "Dying without Fear"; she specialized in Cognitive Processes Psychology at the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan; she obtained a Master's degree from the National Guild of Hypnotists (with a specialization in Analgesy Practitioner) at the ISI-CNV center in Nice and a Master's degree in International NLP Practitioner; she furthered her studies in Brief Strategic Psychotherapy based on the Palo Alto school model in Milan. She is registered in the Psychologists' Registry of the Lombardy Region and is a Member of the Slovenian Psychologists Association.


Her activity has always been divided between the clinic - where she has been working for over fifteen years in the psycho-oncological sector - and research: In 1996, she opened one of the first completely free online psychology support services. At the same time, she carries out clinical activities, contributing to the spread of psychoneurophysiology in Italy. In 2002, she founded the Buddhamam center, created for stress management (both at a pathological level and at a preventive level), named among the six most innovative trends of the year in the wellness field by "Future Concept Lab". In 2003, she completed the "Musica Simbolica" project, a series of musical works expressly designed to facilitate certain cognitive processes, such as abstract reasoning and intuition. In 2007, she published with her husband Gabriele Rossi "Semi-Immortality. The indefinite prolongation of life.", a manifesto book of European transhumanism. In 2008, she continued her research in the field of functional diagnostics, completing the Beta version of iMed, the module for estimating biological age. In 2009, she published "The Mind Does Not Mind - Daily Psychoneurophysiology", the result of over ten years of frontline work on mind-body relationships and psycho-oncology. In 2010, she published with her husband Gabriele Rossi "Couples Game", a treatise on couple psychosessuology.
