Full Professor of Electronic Bioengineering at the University of Cagliari
Graduated in Physics and PhD in Bioengineering, Annalisa Bonfiglio is a full professor of Electronic Bioengineering and coordinator of the Biomedical Engineering Degree Course at the University of Cagliari. Since 2017, she has been the president of CRS4 - Research Center, Development, Higher Studies in Sardinia. She is also a member of the Faculty Board of the PhD School in Bioengineering and Robotics at the University of Genoa.
Author of over 130 writings including articles for international journals, proceedings of international conferences, and book chapters, she has to her credit 9 patents. Her research activity is focused on the study of innovative devices and materials, particularly organic semiconductors, for applications in wearable electronics and monitoring of biomedical variables of interest.
Involved in numerous research projects at both national and international levels, she also serves as an evaluator of research projects on behalf of various international organizations including the European Commission, V, VI, VII Framework Program, Horizon2020 and European Research Council, the Agence Nationale de la Recherche, and the US-Israel Binational Science Foundation.
From 2015 to 2017 she was Vice-Rector for Innovation and Relations with the Territory at the University of Cagliari.
