Deputy General Director of the Bank of Italy
Member of the Directorate and Deputy General Manager of the Bank of Italy since May 10, 2019 (Presidential Decree of May 3, 2019). In this capacity, she is also a member of the integrated Directorate of the Institute for the Supervision of Insurance (IVASS).
A graduate degree in Law from the University of Genoa and a Master's degree in Corporate Law from the Law School of New York University, Alessandra Perrazzelli is registered with the New York Bar Association where she began her career working as a lawyer at the law firm Winthrop, Stimson, Putnam & Roberts.
She was Country Manager and General Counsel of Barclays Italy. Internally within the company, she was also President of the Italy Country Management Committee and the Italy Risk & Control Committee, a member of the Group Diversity and Inclusion Council, and President of the Regional Investment Committee.
Furthermore, from 2011 to 2017 she was a member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Remuneration Committee of ATM Azienda Trasporti Milanesi. Since 2014, she has been a board member of ABI (Italian Banking Association) and since 2015 a board member of AIBE (Italian Association of Foreign Banks).
Previously, at Intesa Sanpaolo, he held the positions of Head of International Regulatory & Antitrust Affairs and Sole Director of Intesa Sanpaolo Eurodesk, the Group's consulting company for innovative businesses in accessing European funding.
