Adriana Pontecorvo was born in Naples in 1977 where she obtained a degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures from the University of Naples L'Orientale.
Her professional activity began in 2003 within the family shipping company - LGR di Navigazione - in the commercial management of the fleet, a role that led her to move the following year to Copenhagen, at TORM, a Danish company where the ships of the LGR fleet were managed.
In 2005, when LGR Holding, of which the Pontecorvo family is the sole shareholder, acquired the company Italaquae from the multinational Danone, later renamed Ferrarelle SpA, Adriana returned to Italy to support her father in the company restructuring, and then to develop foreign commercial activity through the internationalization of the Ferrarelle and Natìa brands.
Adriana, finally, has been part of the National Youth Council of Federalimentare since 2006, she was a counselor of Confimprese from 2009 to 2011, and, after being a counselor of the Food Product Group of Assolombarda since 2008, she was elected President last March.
