A course to support the category in knowledge and in the reasoned use of Social Media

Milan, May 8, 2017 - Women&Tech ® - Women and Technology Association, founded by Gianna Martinengo, consistently promotes the sharing and exchange of experiences and skills in the fields of technology and social innovation. After organizing, on the occasion of the event promoted in April by the Municipality of Milan #STEMinthecity, #Robotlab, an educational robotics laboratory dedicated to primary school children, in the coming months it will launch a training project dedicated to the category of journalists.

The course will be divided into multiple meetings and will use different methods.

The first appointment is scheduled for today, May 8, with the free course "Social Media and Verified News: Tools and Equal Opportunities for the Profession", organized and promoted by Daniela Dirceo and Stefania Consenti, delegates of Alg in the Equal Opportunities Commission Fnsi, which takes place in Milan, at the Gaber auditorium of the Lombardy Region, Palazzo Pirelli. The morning session, starting at 9 am and ending at 1 pm, will feature various speakers: Daniela Dirceo, Gianna Martinengo; Stefania Consenti and Franz Russo.

The course - which allows 300 participants to learn how to use Social Networks effectively for professional purposes, with the aim of exploring new avenues and enhancing their potential - allows to obtain 4 training credits, valuable for meeting the obligations of Continuous Professional Training.

  • 9:00 am Greetings from Paolo Perucchini - President of the Lombard Journalists Association - Fnsi
  • 9:15 Moderated by Daniela Dirceo, journalist, representing Lombardy Equal Opportunities Commission Fnsi
  • 9:30 AM Gianna Martinengo, President of Didael KTS and Founder of WomenTech will be speaking.
  • 9:45 AM - Stefania Consenti, journalist, representative of Lombardy Equal Opportunities Commission FNSI, will speak.
  • At 10:00 AM Daniela Dirceo introduces Franz Russo, blogger and expert in Web and Social Media, who will discuss the most relevant topics in these areas during this period, with a practical approach.
