Women&Tech among the protagonists of Elle Active! 2019, the Forum of Active Women.
Meetings and mentoring activities will involve over 20 associates, available to young and older women who have the potential to become true "Tech Visionaries®"
On the 9th and 10th of November, the University of Bicocca in Milan (building U6, piazza dell'Ateneo Nuovo 1) will speak the language of women who intend to assert and confirm their role within society and the world of work: the fourth edition of Elle Active! - The Forum of Active Women will be held. This event will focus on the changes that all women, from young graduates to those who intend to reinvent their career path, can make by drawing on the vast network of relationships and knowledge sharing that will develop over the two days, including conferences, interactive workshops, and mentoring activities.
Women&Tech Association Women and Technologies has decided to support the Elle Active! project as a qualified partner that has always spoken directly to the female world.
Due to the commitments that will give visibility to the Association:
- Gianna Martinengo, Founder of the Association and President of DKTS, on Sunday, November 10th at 3:45 PM, at the Aula Magna, will bring her experience in a panel conducted by Elle's director, Maria Elena Viola, titled: "The professions of the future: environment, technological and scientific innovation, activism-NGO".
- 22 associates will make their expertise available to the participants of the Forum who wish to discuss topics related to work, empowerment, skills, and career during the afternoon sessions of the Mentoring "One-on-One", which includes 1 hour and 30 minute slots for personalized coaching sessions. The Associates of Women&Tech who will be present have high-profile resumes (they are managers, entrepreneurs, senior consultants, teachers) in various professional sectors (ICT, Biotech, Communication & Media, Universities, Finance, Multiutility, ...).
The two Mentorship sessions organized by Women&Tech and offered to those who would like to participate will propose the following contents: "Learning from experience, learning from the future: how to network to share today's challenges and face those of tomorrow" and "Women and career: how to set up your own growth path".

The empowerment of oneself, the courage to open new paths, to activate personal change, to recognize one's own worth and use it to improve one's condition and grow professionally: the Elle Active! Forum, with its established format already replicated in other countries (from France, to China, Japan, Korea, Spain) makes concrete - and achievable - women's aspirations, creating a close connection between personal skills and job opportunities. This same approach has always been used by Women&Tech, especially towards young people. From here also the commitment to the Mentoring session.
