Milan, March 4, 2016 - As part of the initiative "Europe is for Women" , promoted by the European Parliament , Directorate General Communication and Information, Milan Office, the Women and Technology Association organizes on Friday, March 11, 2016 a Pink Talk Event entitled "Female Governance" to shed light on the most relevant aspects of Governance as a good system of government in listed companies, as well as in participatory societies and non-profit organizations.
The event will be attended by Susanna Stefani (Vice President of Governance Consulting), Federica Nolli (President of the Board of Statutory Auditors of Fiera Milano S.p.A. and partner at FP&Partners), Carmela Francesca (Board Member of ATM S.p.A.), Carlotta Sami (UNHCR Spokesperson and former Director of Amnesty International Italy). The proceedings will be moderated by Maria Cristina Bombelli , President of Wise Growth.
She will bring her testimony on Female Governance in Europe with the project "European Women Shareholders demand Gender Equality" Antonia Verna from the Portolano Cavallo Law Firm.

Women and Technologies is an association founded in 2009 with the aim of promoting projects aimed at enhancing female talent in technology, innovation, and scientific research; supporting projects and actions aimed at fighting stereotypes and gender discrimination, and contributing to guiding young people towards the professions of the future and sustainable entrepreneurial models. From 2009 to date, the Association has designed and implemented 44 projects and 80 events (involving an audience of approximately 12,000 people) in partnership with private and public entities such as the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Education, University and Research, the Lombardy Region, the Province of Milan, and the Milan Chamber of Commerce. The Association is open to all those who wish to contribute voluntarily and directly to the shared objectives. It is permeated by the principles of innovation in all its components, starting from its members (women and men) who have diverse professional experiences and represent excellence in various reference sectors.
They support the activities of the Women and Technologies Association in 2016 with 45 members and some companies including
