Milan, 28/10/2016 - The Women and Technology Association has always supported initiatives and projects that enhance the role of women and empowerment. In the coming days, the President, Maria Luisa Nolli, Co-founder and CEO of NCNbio, and Antonia Verna, partner at the Portolano Cavallo Law Firm in Milan, will bring their experience to the two-day Elle Active! event, which originated in France five years ago and is making its debut in Italy.
Elle Active! will bring together the most significant female figures in our country, who will share their experience in the field of work, which will be investigated in all its facets (from public speaking to leadership style, from work-life balance to motherhood, to social security, to job interviews).
The audience will be composed of 2,000 "active" women who are looking to enhance their professional ambitions: women who are at the beginning or end of their careers; who are reinventing themselves or seeking inspiration, or who want to start a freelance career.
The event, which will take place at the UniCredit Pavilion at Piazza Gae Aulenti 10, will be full of interactive moments, including testimonials and motivational talk speeches.
Antonia Verna, at 2:30 PM on November 4th, will be the protagonist of the thematic corner "Building a network, building a team (digital)". President Maria Luisa Nolli will instead be present the following day, November 5th, and starting from 4:30 PM will be available for One to One talks dedicated to Female Networks.
"It is their task - explains Gianna Martinengo, Founder of the Association of Women and Technologies - to update not only their own experience, but to leave creative insights and innovative ideas that the women present in the audience can turn into a desire for action and new personal strategy."
To follow the event in its entirety, you can connect to the dedicated space on the website www.elle.it.
The Women and Technology Association was founded in 2009 by an idea of Gianna Martinengo, which is shared by a network of companies and individuals who offer their skills to achieve its mission. Enhancing female talent in technology, innovation, and scientific research, promoting projects and actions aimed at combating stereotypes and gender discrimination, contributing to guiding young people towards future professions and sustainable entrepreneurial models are the goals of the Association.
Women and Technology Association promotes the sharing and exchange of experiences and skills in the fields of technology, social innovation, sustainability, inclusion, human capital, skills, life science, art, culture, creativity, gender gap, and diversity. The tools it adopts range from project and event management, to Awards, to Future Camp Europe, to Talk Events, to the dissemination of knowledge through the Expo Women Global Forum portal, http://www.ewgf.eu.
