“What men don't say”: Women&Tech launches the "masculine" video to tell - and thank - the "feminine"

The project confirms the values of the Association and pays tribute to all women and their role - foundational for society - cultural and educational

Milan, December 4, 2018 - Women&Tech-Association Women and Technologies is launching these days, on all social platforms, the video "What men don't say", in which, in a very emotional way, it tells its essence and the values it identifies with.

In the video, visible at the link www.womentech.eu , children, boys, and men describe feminine traits without ever mentioning the subject or subjects to which they refer. Only at the end it is revealed that kindness, sweetness, care, responsibility, and hospitality described with such delicacy were referring to the mothers, women, daughters, sisters of the protagonists.

The choice to use video as a communication tool aims to highlight the uniqueness of the Association and describe it in a "plastic" and very impactful way, so that the viewer can retain clear messages for themselves and cultivate the same passion and mission proposed by Women&Tech.

They tell the story of the Founder, Gianna Martinengo, and the President, Olga Iarussi: "Women&Tech is not engaged daily only in the dissemination of technological issues and the spread of culture related to IT. What interests all members, belonging to the world of entrepreneurship, university, and public administration, is the relationship between people, between men and women, between different generations. Women are now recognized - finally with the right emphasis - a role of great cultural and educational significance within Italian society. Aware of the various gaps that still exist between male and female figures, women do not tire of teaching - to their children, future men - respect for every person. This is what we like to remember, also with images, music, and screenplay."

In a context where the awareness of the female role is often viewed with suspicion or annoyance, the video by Women&Tech-Association of Women and Technologies establishes a firm point and naturally brings out the beauty and the bond of mutual affection and "need" that unites men and women, far from the stereotype that portrays men as "closed" in their feelings and not inclined to expressions of esteem and affection.

The video project was supervised by Gianna Martinengo and Olga Iarussi thanks to the support of Attila & Co. and in collaboration with the Content Marketing agency LUZ, which chose director Pietro Baroni for the video.

A special thanks for the support to Fondazione Cariplo.
