Today, hundreds of users have followed the speeches of the professionals who have brought to life the second day of the Innovation Tram, an initiative by Women&Technologies participating in Milan Digital Week.
The event, held digitally due to the Coronavirus, has addressed and will continue to address, tomorrow, all the topics related to people, technology, and society, also in relation to the new developments that will arise from the post-Covid19 era. Mobility, Open Data, Fintech, Green Sharing, Intelligence (Artificial), Smart Cities, Hospital 4.0, Sustainability, Ecosystems, talents for the future: with these tools, and the contribution of all, we will shape the future that awaits us.
This edition of the Tram dell'Innovazione, conceived by Gianna Martinengo, is also interactive, thanks to the possibility of directly asking questions to the speakers during the live broadcasts.
Today's guests on board the Tram, moderated by journalist Debora Rosciani of Radio 24 Il Sole 24 Ore, were:
Marco Turchini (CEO of A2A SmartCity) who discussed the topic: "Milan smart city, technological innovation applied to services" telling how the metropolis is already using intelligent solutions in different areas.
Mariagrazia Del Vescovo (Channel Sales Manager, Automotive) and Lara Ferraro (Senior Local Data Intelligence Analyst) from Here Technologies, along with Simone Marchetti (Director of Business Development Digital Supply Chain at Oracle) discussed "Data and digital technologies for sustainable mobility". The two companies explained how data and technology help create useful tools to improve the lives of citizens, especially in terms of mobility.
Donato Luongo (Account Manager Executive at Faber System) took the floor in the speech "Digital Transformation and Sustainability", explaining to connected users how technology can truly increase sustainability, thanks to the reduction of paper and collaboration among people (less physical travel, more document sharing).
Paola Gualtieri (3M R&D Operational Leader-Product Stewardship & Sustainability SEE Region) finally dedicated herself to "The science of safety", explaining how at the core of all 3M's work related to protecting individuals, including safety devices (such as masks and respirators), is research on technologies that is constantly evolving.
