This March 8th, International Women's Day has a different meaning for us due to the current situation. Millions of people in Ukraine are facing the horror of war, some fleeing to other countries, others seeking protection in the shelters of their devastated cities. Everyone needs help and assistance, to feel that they are not alone in the humanitarian crisis that has affected them.

As Women&Tech ^® We do not stand by helplessly: in the spirit of sharing and solidarity that distinguishes us, we want to act as an Association by networking and joining UNHCR in providing assistance.

We have decided to collaborate in raising funds to be allocated to UNHCR's immediate initiatives towards internally displaced persons in Ukraine and refugees fleeing the country, especially women and children, who have lost or left their families and homes.

With these funds, essential goods, medicines, food, blankets will be purchased, and pathways for accommodation will be facilitated.

We ask for the active involvement of all of you who, with the strength of your network, can amplify the reach of this initiative.
