Women&Tech at the conference “Women, Work, New Technologies”: building inclusion in the era of AI

Women&Tech ETS will participate in the conference “Women, Work, New Technologies”, scheduled for March 6, 2026, at the Aula Magna of the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa.

The initiative, promoted in collaboration with Soroptimist International of Italy and the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, focuses on the relationship between artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and women's work, with the aim of analyzing challenges and opportunities from an inclusive perspective.

During the afternoon roundtable “AI and technological innovation: challenges and opportunities for women’s work”, Gianna Martinengo, President of Women&Tech® ETS, will speak, sharing the association’s experience in promoting STEM culture, female empowerment, and inclusive leadership in technological contexts.

The discussion will involve representatives from institutions, academia, and technology competence centers, with particular attention to policies for digital transformation and strategies for a fair and sustainable transition.

At a historical moment when artificial intelligence is redefining skills, professions, and organizational models, Women&Tech reaffirms its commitment to ensuring that innovation serves as a lever for equity, growth, and the active participation of women in decision-making and technological processes.
