On October 20, 2023, the conference "Urban Transformations 2023" will be held at the Auditorium Cascina Triulza of the MIND Milano Innovation District. The event, promoted by AIDIA, will start at 9:00 AM.
The AIDIA section of Milan, within the context of the Urban Transformations path, intends to promote a debate to identify virtuous urban planning practices and urban redevelopment strategies. The conference aims to focus on the innovative development of themes related to design, architecture, and urban planning. This initiative aims to promote ideas and solutions for an inclusive, supportive, and sustainable city. The event wants to analyze the changes underway in urban areas, starting from the experience of Milan and Lombardy and broadening the perspective to other evolving realities.
During the conference, thematic sessions will be offered on topics such as energy, equal opportunities, digitalization, sustainability, and the environment. Gianna Martinengo , president of Women&Tech ETS, will hold a key lecture on the theme of equal opportunities. Other speakers include Francesca Hugony from ENEA, Cristiana Bolchini from Politecnico di Milano, Silvia Piacentini from Arexpo, and Beatrice Uguccioni from the Municipality of Milan. The round table will be moderated by Debora Bionda, journalist and editor-in-chief of CreditNews.
Participation in the conference is free, but requires registration through the link. Participants can obtain 3 credits from the Order of Engineers of Milan by registering on the Foim website. The event is held in collaboration with the Order of Architects PPC of the Province of Milan, which offers 6 credits to architects with a minimum attendance of 100%.
