Innovation offers extraordinary opportunities for the development of mobility of the future: it will be discussed on Wednesday, January 22 in Milan at an event organized by Telepass at the Feltrinelli Foundation to elaborate reflections and evaluate proposals on new ways of moving around the city.
Three highlights of the day: a talk with various players in smart mobility titled "The intelligent mobility of the future. What new opportunities?"; the presentation of Next; and the announcement of the winning startup of "Telepass Pay Ecosystem: a call for the integrated mobility ecosystem". Among others, the CEO of Telepass, Gabriele Benedetto, the CEO of Digital360, Andrea Rangone, and the Mobility Councillor of Milan, Marco Granelli, will be speaking.
Smart Mobility: The roundtable
Starting from 9:30 AM, at Viale Pasubio 5, Massimo Sideri, columnist of Corriere della Sera and head of Corriere Innovazione, will introduce the topic of the debate: the new opportunities offered by smart mobility.
Gabriele Benedetto, CEO of Telepass, a company born for the payment of highway tolls that in recent years has been expanding services aimed at the mobility ecosystem, in line with changing paradigms and scenarios, will be the first to explain his idea of innovative mobility. Andrea Rangone, CEO of Digital360, an entrepreneurial reality that aims to contribute to the digital transformation and entrepreneurial innovation of our country (of which EconomyUp is a part), will then speak. Bringing the debate to the concrete field of the applicability of ideas to the metropolis will be Marco Granelli, Councilor for Mobility of the Municipality of Milan. Then Giovanni Iozzia, Editor-in-Chief of EconomyUp, will present the three finalist start-ups of the Telepass Call4Ideas.
The second part of the round table will mainly feature interventions from representatives of the public and private entrepreneurial world committed to developing ideas, products, and solutions for smart mobility: Dario Casiraghi, General Manager SME of Arval, Gianna Martinengo, entrepreneur and founder of Women&Technologies, Christian Padovan, Founder and CEO of WashOut, Arrigo Giana, General Manager of ATM, Massimiliano Lo Bianco, CEO of Iren, Lorenzo Pireddu, Head of Italy at Uber, Salvatore Palella, CEO of Helbiz. From the academic world, the voice of Monica Nicoli, Associated Professor at the Polytechnic University of Milan.
Smart mobility: the startups selected by Telepass
A space will be dedicated to "Telepass Pay Ecosystem: a call for the integrated mobility ecosystem", the first call4ideas launched by Telepass to select startups, software houses, and technology providers with innovative proposals for mobility in cities. Concluded on November 29, 2019, the contest brought together entities committed to urban and extra-urban mobility with solutions based on the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence.
The winners will have the opportunity to further develop their project with the top management and IT team of Telepass and evaluate possible collaborations to accelerate its development. The ultimate goal is to promote the spread of smart mobility, enriching the Telepass Pay platform with technological solutions that can increase Customer Engagement.
