Corso Magenta 61, Milan Sofia and Leone are best friends. It doesn't matter if Sofia is as energetic and determined as Leone is calm and shy: together they can do anything because they know that their differences are a richness. Their friendship was born thanks to their common passion for soccer: there is nothing that makes them happier than wearing the jersey of Libertas, their favorite team. Just a field, a ball, and off they go: they start running and laughing like crazy! However, there is someone who can't stand the idea of females and males being on the same team. So, when she is excluded from the role of vice-coach, Sofia decides she's not having it. She doesn't want her dream to be denied just because she's a "female". She then decides to return to the book-crossing house where the magical book is located, thanks to which she and Leone had managed to go back to 1946 and save the Constitution. Sofia feels that, once again, the book has all the answers she's looking for. Together with Leone, she will travel back in time once again and meet Rita Levi-Montalcini. The two friends will understand that there are no jobs for females or males and that nothing can stop Sofia, and all of us, from fulfilling our dreams. Maria Scoglio and Cristina Sivieri Tagliabue have created two special characters with whom young readers can identify. In their first adventure, "Mission Democracy", Sofia and Leone taught us the fundamental principles of the Italian Republic. In these pages, they take us to the heart of civil rights and gender equality, essential to raise a new generation attentive to others.
