The objective of the initiative is to awaken critical thinking in young people.
Two fourth classes of the Liceo Bottoni competed in a structured debate contest on 4 current social and cultural issues chosen in collaboration with the Metropolitan Labor Chamber of Milan (CGIL union).
The jury chaired by the headmistress Giovanna Mezzatesta of LSS Bottoni and composed of the actor Germano Lanzoni (the famous Milanese Imbruttito), the youtuber Caleel, the rapper Flam Boy, and the businesswoman Gianna Martinengo declared the 4C class as the winner.
The themes chosen by the students this year were: 24-hour openings; Civil unions; Industry 4.0; Fake News.
The jury evaluated the classes based on three elements:
- creativity in the exposition of the theme
- expository effectiveness
- persuasion of the argument.
