Robotics workshops to introduce children and teenagers to computational thinking, dedicated to children and teenagers from 4 to 13 years old.

Within the framework of the fifth edition of THE TIME OF WOMEN, Women&Tech Women and Technologies Association proposes 2 workshops dedicated to children and teenagers, to discover the world of robotics. SEPTEMBER 8 LA TRIENNALE DI MILANO Sala Balena Via Emilio Alemagna 6 20121 Milan

Discover Cubetto and Nao (workshop for children aged 4 to 7 years)

Information and registration → from 2:30pm to 4:00pm Let's get to know Cubetto, a friendly wooden robot that is programmed by playing, and Nao, a humanoid robot that will show children that all robots are easy to program.

Working with Lego Mindstorm EV3 (workshop for kids aged 8 to 13)

Info and registration → from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm Let's learn how to build a robot capable of performing tasks completely autonomously, using the 3rd generation of LEGO® Mindstorms Education robotic technologies, motors, sensors, and programming. Adults (parents, grandparents, teachers, and educators) are invited to attend. On this occasion, the digital project GIOCOSO: requirements for reading and writing , curated by Gianna Martinengo and aimed at parents and teachers of children in kindergarten and primary school, aims to promote the harmonious development of basic skills, which allow children to learn reading and writing techniques. The activities proposed for children include tests, games, and educational robotics exercises, paying particular attention to students with Special Educational Needs (BES). We thank Microsoft Italia for providing the Surface tablets used during the workshops.
