The sector of new materials is rapidly expanding, with companies in this sector using advanced methods and technologies for the production of innovative solutions.
As part of the school-work Alternation initiatives, Women&Tech - Women and Technology Association, in partnership with 3M Italia, promotes a day dedicated to exploring the theme "New materials & New jobs".
The journey is a path that unfolds within the headquarters as a transformative experience that offers visitors a wide range of solutions developed with the possibility to interact with the technologies, understand how they work, and imagine new uses. The worlds touched upon are automotive, industrial, energy, design, consumption, safety, health care, and others, through the applications of technologies to discover that they are by our side in everyday life with continuous innovations to improve our lives. A transversal reading is given by the sustainability strategy with solutions and products that help to respect the environment and society.
The meeting also includes testimonies from specialists in various business areas, direct experiences, and space for discussion between students and teachers on the topic of new materials.

Teachers who wish to participate with their classes in "New materials & New jobs" are invited to send their request to Katia Romano (3M) indicating the Institute of belonging and a list of the students and chaperones, up to a maximum of 60 people in total.Where it takes place and how to get there
