Progetto "Wellbeing in Practice" (WiP) for Young Women in Technology

Women&Tech collaborates in the realization of the project "Wellbeing in Practice" (WiP) for Young Women in Technology, which aims to prepare female students of the master's degree in engineering at the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome for entering the workforce.

The project is structured as follows:

  • 6 meetings (each lasting approximately 45 minutes) in the Club House starting from June and July 2019.
  • 3 meetings of 2.5 hours each at Campus Bio-Medico or at a training center in central Rome.
  • 5 business days of field experience

The project aims to support the acquisition of soft skills (autonomy, relationships, communication, ...) through lectures, coaching (personal and group knowledge), shadowing experiences, internships, and work.

Various themes are addressed:

  • Analysis of scenarios and work strategies;
  • Learning technical language;
  • Assimilation of a personal operational model;
  • Understanding the logic of work;
  • Reception of an effective communication plan;
  • Development of a personal communicative and relational style;
  • How to build effective relationships.

Collaborate in the realization of the project:

  • Women&Tech - Women and Technologies Association
  • Viviana Callea, engineer and coach, adjunct professor at the "La Sapienza" University
  • Human Resources Office of the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome.

The project and the events related to it are reserved for students of the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome.

The next October 31 there will be a meeting with Ericsson, a global company leader in communication technology that offers placement opportunities through a professional growth path.
