Immersive virtual reality as a tool to promote female empowerment

An informative event aimed at raising awareness about the main obstacles to female leadership in the corporate, institutional, and political spheres, and analyzing the strategies used so far to support women in pursuing ambitious careers and occupying top positions.

The topics will be addressed by integrating a social, clinical, and neuroscientific perspective with the aim of providing valid tools to respond to the daily challenges that women, but also men, may face in their working life.

The outreach activity will be accompanied by a research and innovation activity, with the aim of developing a new strategy to promote female empowerment based on the transformative effects that new technologies, specifically Virtual Reality, seem to be able to generate.
