The Working Group on the National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence and the focus on the strategic plan for the future of our country has highlighted how the underrepresentation of women among the skills that contribute to developing artificial intelligence-based systems impacts the actions that will be taken by the systems themselves.
The disruptive social and technological innovation is highlighting how essential the holistic vision of science and technology is and how diversity should be the focal point of reflection and implementation. Artificial Intelligence requires, like few other disciplines, a deep integration between scientific and humanistic culture: from mathematical modeling, statistics, logic, psychology, linguistics, philosophy, sociology (STEAM).
The role of women must be at the forefront in the challenges related to AI. Today's decisions have an impact on the future of everyone.
