The next May 6th, at 9:30 am, in Milan, at the Council Room of the Province of Milan Palazzo Isimbardi (Corso Monforte 35), as part of the initiative of the preliminary events for the annual conference Women&Technologies (VI Edition - Milan, November 2013), the second annual appointment of Futurecamp Europe: job projects for young people will take place: an interactive meeting, designed and organized by the Women and Technologies Association, aimed at young people, teachers, and parents interested in discovering and understanding how to enter and navigate the emerging professional sectors in Europe in the near future. In particular, the markets of Environmental Sustainability, Nutrition, and ICT (specifically music informatics) will be analyzed through the experiences and skills of entrepreneurs, teachers, and researchers who have turned their passion into a profession. Through direct interaction and comparison with these realities, young people will be able to receive practical information and find inspiration for defining and building a professional path in line with their inclinations and the demands of the job market. "Two are the essential components of the future of Europe and our country: equality and youth -" asserts Gianna Martinengo, entrepreneur and president of the Association. - We want to combine them in order to contribute to ferrying the current educational context towards a new interpretation of training, oriented not so much to traditional skills and abilities but rather to those of the future. Offering an overview of emerging professions to the "weak" subjects of the job market, namely young people and women, means presenting, through moments of orientation, comparison, and dialogue like this one, the professions that today offer the greatest development opportunities and effectively understanding in which perspective one should place oneself regarding choices that concern one's educational and professional path". Marina Carini, Bibiana Ferrari, Michele Forzani, Liliana Gorla, Goffredo Haus, Anita Longo, Gianna Martinengo, Tullia Martiradonna, Enrica Monticelli, Marisa Porrini, Maria Emanuela Salati, Alberto Schiraldi, Piergiorgio Valentini will share their experience, among others. Valentina Aprea, Cristina Stancari, and Francesco De Sanctis will represent the institutions. Information and content about the meeting will be publicly shared on the FutureCamp Europe channel on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, while during the event, the possibility to interact with other participants thanks to a app for smartphones and tablets called Yopin (Your Opinion) will be available.
