: with these words Gianna Martinengo, entrepreneur and founder of Women&Tech - Association of Women and Technologies , describes the partnership that links the Association to Forum Retail 2017 , the event that - among 20 sessions and 130 speakers - will host on November 30 and December 1 - 500 Italian retailers. "When two worlds communicate and are interconnected, ideas and projects can only be of great value"
During the two days of the Forum (which will be held in Milan at the Atahotel Expo Fiera), attendees will have the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the themes and challenges of the Retail sector, between the evolved shopping experience and the entry of Artificial Intelligence among the enabling technologies for customer relations.
A focus will be specifically dedicated to the female world: from this particular attention arises the collaboration with Women&Tech - Women and Technology Association. Specifically Gianna Martinengo will moderate, on November 30, from 2:15 pm to 2:45 pm, a round table entitled "Women in Retail: how to break down barriers and enhance excellence".
The participants in the discussion will be Debora Guma, CEO of Carrefour; Paola Corna Pellegrini, CEO of Allianz Worldwide Partners; Olga Iarussi, CEO of Triumph International Southern Europe; Sara Tassoni, Personnel Manager of Goldenpoint; Monica Gagliardi, Global Ecommerce, CRM, Digital & Social Director of OVS Group.
"Each of these figures - the moderator states - represents a top figure in the economy of their company. It will be interesting to investigate the theme of Diversity with them, to understand the obstacles that these managers may have encountered, as well as to address prejudices and stereotypes that can slow down women's contribution to business growth. And, with reference to the Retail sector, what paths, obstacles, and metrics of success can be highlighted."
The comparison between managers will be even more stimulating because it will highlight the points of contact/distance of Retail with other sectors.
"As Women&Tech - Women and Technologies Association, we are proud to contribute to the spread of a culture of diversity and the enhancement of the role of women in the business world. These managers demonstrate how professional growth paths are achievable, but also how it is necessary to promote good practices and above all to share positive experiences, to be a stimulus for young women who are about to enter the workforce and to be an effective reminder for the entrepreneurial, political, and institutional system of our country."
From 2009 to date, Women&Tech - Association of Women and Technologies has conceived and carried out 124 projects and events (involving an audience of approximately 12,000 people) in partnership with private and public entities.
The flagship of all its initiatives is the Technovisionary Award (recognition awarded to women capable of "inventing the future" through an innovative, sustainable, and ethical vision), now in its XI Edition this year.
