Female empowerment in a changing economic world

We are pleased to invite you to participate in a significant event dedicated to female empowerment in a rapidly evolving economic context. The meeting will take place on November 20, 2023 at the University of Milan-Bicocca, a symbol of innovation and research.

The conference, entitled " Female Empowerment in a Changing Economic World ", represents a unique opportunity to delve into the theme of gender equality and the crucial role of educating the new generations. During the event, industry experts will share their knowledge and experiences to address crucial questions and offer insights on how to reduce gender inequalities and empower the financial and entrepreneurial skills of young women. Among the speakers will be Gianna Martinengo , President of Women&Tech ETS, who will contribute during the round table dedicated to the theme of female empowerment. She will be joined by Paola Corna Pellegrini, President of AICEO and Winning Women Institute; Giovanna Guercio, President of Soroptimist; Donato Masciandaro, Director of the Financial Education Committee (MEF) and Bocconi University. During the conference, the results of a study on the career aspirations of a group of teenagers from Lombard schools will be presented, and the first free summer camp on financial education and entrepreneurship for teenage girls, "EFFE Summer Camp: Female Empowerment for a Fairer Future", scheduled for June 2024, will be introduced. The conference will conclude with a round table discussion on the themes of barter, gift-giving, and economic-financial education actions of the PNRR (MUSA-Spoke 4), placed within the broader context of the circular economy and sustainability. The event is organized by the MUSA project, the Single Guarantee Committee, and the Di.SEA.DE Department, with the support of numerous partners and sponsoring entities.
