On November 19, 2025, Women&Tech® ETS met with the students of the Zaccaria Institute in Milan for a morning dedicated to discovering the technologies that are transforming the way we study, work, and communicate.
The seminar, titled “Explorers of AI: the contribution of artificial intelligence”, was led by Gianna Martinengo, President of Women&Tech® ETS and CEO of Didael KTS, with moderation by Professor Maria Beatrice Carretta.
The meeting was attended by 75 girls and boys from the third grades of lower secondary school, along with 4 of their teachers. The goal was to provide a simple and rigorous overview of the fundamental concepts of artificial intelligence, its applications in daily life, and the opportunities it can open up in the learning journey and, prospectively, in the world of work.
During the seminar, topics such as the functioning of algorithms, the conscious use of digital technologies, creativity supported by AI, and the need to develop critical skills to interact responsibly with intelligent tools were addressed.
The initiative is part of the Ready4Future project, promoted by Women&Tech® ETS to stimulate knowledge and awareness about the role of technologies, encouraging the active and informed participation of younger generations in the development of the digital society.
