On May 2, 2024, the event: ENERGY - Competence at the base of choosing your own Future will take place. The event will be held at the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering Sapienza (Via Eudossiana, 18, 00184 Roma RM) in the Aula del Chiostro from 09:00 to 12:00 and is part of the #Ready4Future project of the association Women&Technologies®.
During the event, there will be alternating presentations by high school students and representatives from the world of engineering and technology. The common theme of the presentations will be the word "energy", which represents, on one hand, a necessary skill for choosing one's educational path to succeed and be enterprising, and on the other hand, a sector of the market that is increasingly "quoted" and continuously growing.
Targeted at all generations from high school students, to university students, to professionals in the field, the event will see students from schools presenting their projects for the future.
The presentation of projects and the interventions of mentors (representatives of companies and organizations in the technical sector) constitute the final proof of what has been acquired during the PCTO "A toolkit for the conscious choice of the future study path" conducted by engineer Viviana Callea. Just because the purpose of the PCTO is to offer tools for the conscious choice of the future study path, the proposed event shares its purpose with the social innovation project Ready4Future which aims to guide the new generations towards the professions and trades of the future.
During the event, each student will present themselves, along with their working group, delving into those topics and/or relevant factors that have emerged during the path followed during the PCTO. Each of the young people has defined the proposal strategy, both of their own characteristics, and of the group project "with energy" and the enthusiasm typical of the new generations!
