The project continues
AWE (Academy For Women Entrepreneurs) , promoted by the University of Naples Federico II in collaboration with the U.S. Department of State and the partnership of Women & Tech®, aims to support the entrepreneurial aspirations of women and girls.
With the support of the U.S. Diplomatic Mission in Italy, AWE is aimed at women and girls aged 18 to 40 and aims to implement knowledge, network, and access to resources necessary to launch and scale entrepreneurial activities. By promoting economic opportunities for women and ensuring that women have the skills and resources required for entrepreneurial success, AWE directly supports gender equality and economic growth in the reference territory.
The program includes online lessons on the DreamBuilder platform of the Thunderbird School of Global Management at the University of Arizona, integrated at the University of Naples Federico II with mentorship sessions, pitch competitions, guest speaker talks, collaborations with incubators, and networking events with U.S. Exchange Alumni and business leaders.
Upon completion of the AWE program, participants will enter the U.S. Exchange Alumni network and may have access to international funding opportunities.
