Thursday, November 26, 2026, at 5:30 PM, Gianna Martinengo, Founder and President of Women&Tech® ETS, will participate in a meeting promoted by ANDE Milan (National Association of Women Voters), dedicated to the relationship between artificial intelligence, citizenship, and democratic participation.
The event, titled “Artificial Intelligence and Conscious Citizenship. An Interpretation of the Milan Manifesto between Rights, Responsibilities, and Participation”, will offer an opportunity for discussion on how technological transformations are redefining the relationship between citizens, institutions, and society.
Gianna Martinengo will offer a reflection based on the Manifesto of the Municipality of Milan on artificial intelligence, exploring the importance of developing a culture of innovation founded on awareness, the protection of rights, and individual and collective responsibility.
By her side will be Patrizia Toia, former Member of the European Parliament, who will contribute to the debate by bringing a European perspective on the challenges posed by artificial intelligence and on the role of institutions in governing its development.
The meeting will be moderated by Pinarosa Cerasuolo Rocco, dean of ANDE.
For Women&Tech® ETS, these topics are part of a vision of innovation that places people, inclusion, and equal opportunities at the center. Promoting conscious digital citizenship also means facilitating access to the knowledge and skills necessary to understand new technologies and actively participate in the decisions that guide their use.
In this perspective, the involvement of women in innovation processes and in decisions concerning the digital future represents a fundamental element for building a more equitable, responsible, and participatory society.
The meeting is reserved for ANDE members.
